We noticed all the special touches of candy on the bed, carmel apple, etc... The breakfast was overwhelming and we ended up forgoing lunch! Presentation of all food was beautiful. "We loved it in the French Room — If the Owl's Nest had been available, I would have rented that. I totally enjoyed the Inn, the decor, the lovely gardens (which are definitely a labor of love). ... I would highly recommend Berwood to anyone. We especially enjoyed sitting out in the wicker at the end of the garden around 5pm in the breeze. Also the next morning, the breakfast outside was awesome. Joy is a fabulous cook and great hostess. We loved everything from the scrumptious raspberry lemonade to the scones and the 5-course breakfast. ... My sisters also really enjoyed their stay, and we loved the gardens. Thanks for everything!"

"It was remarkable. The room was crystal clean and beautiful. The whole house was gorgeous and even though they were not in their peak, the gardens were spectacular. We enjoyed the serene beauty and location of your inn. The food was out of this world, along with all the extra treats you provide. My husband and I agreed we felt like we stayed in a 5-star hotel with the individual care of a good friend's guest home. "Brian and I had a wonderful time! The Wood Room was lovely (last time we were there we stayed in the Garden Cottage — equally delightful), and Joy's cooking was truly fabulous. Her Saturday morning breakfast fueled 8 miles of cross country skiing, and our Sunday night dinner was beyond compare - the cinnamon cakes she made for dessert were splendid! ... Everyone was very personable and helpful. And, as with our last visit, we enjoyed getting to know the other guests. The Valentine's touch was particularly sweet. Champagne, flowers, chocolates! For us, Valentine's Day has lasted closer to a week... Brian and I are already looking forward to our next visit... and we also picked up a packet of wedding information. We can't imagine a more special place to tie the knot. That won't be for a couple of years yet, but best to start planning early..."
